What is a Registered Nutritionist?
Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists

I'm a Registered Nutritionist, and this matters because - frustratingly - 'nutritionist' is not a protected term, so anyone who fancies it can call themselves this... and frequently do on the internet.

Registered Nutritionists are on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists which means we are "nutrition practitioners who meet rigorously applied training, competence and professional practice criteria".

So a 'Registered Nutritionist' is a good choice to entrust your time, energy and money with.

I'm also hardcore for evidence-based ways of working: almost nothing gets me so fired up as a cracking bit of balanced and well researched study into nutrition, behaviour change, evolutionary psychology, our autonomic nervous system or public health.

So whilst my manner with with clients is relaxed and easy-going, everything resource I use or reference will be underpinned and evidenced by peer-reviewed and published scientific evidence

Also, I like to reference my work a lot. Please check out the hyperlinks to work I reference or cite, and my recommended reading list.

Or not.

After all, that's what I'm here for, right?
