My Story
Here I am!

Hi! I'm Caroline.

I'm a Nutritionist registered with the Association for Nutrition: I achieved this accreditation after graduating with a 1st class degree in Diet & Health in 2010 and 15 years of experience working with clients using evidence-based methods to support them to achieve their health goals.

I began exploring the Compassionate Mind Approach to Nutrition as a way to counteract the ideas held in our culture - which we have internalized - that there is a kind of 'moral compass' to food and weight status.

This way of working acknowledges the self-criticism so many people (including myself) feel when living with overweight or eating the "wrong" foods, provides a practical ways to connect with our strength and courage that we need in order to turn towards this difficulty, and resources to motivate with ourselves with kindness to take the wise actions needed to achieve our goals.

This was where my exploration into Compassion began.

So, years later, I have undertaken many hours of experiential learning 'from the inside out' and developed useful techniques to embed this way of being into daily life.

I have undertaken Compassionate Mind training courses to enable me to teach others the ideas and processes used to develop their Compassionate identity.

I'm able to combine my proficiency in both these spheres to offer Compassionate Nutrition to clients.

I'm ready. Are you?
