How Compassionate Nutrition is different...
Weight management programmes keep their subscription rolling in by building customers' reliance on an externalised monitor and reward system. When payment stops, progress stops. Sound familiar? Together, let's try a new approach...

The business model of so many weight management programmes and behaviour change apps is to retain members for years to keep their subscription rolling in: This is achieved through building their customers' reliance on an externalised monitor of calorie intake, behaviour and reward for weight loss or other measurement.
It is perhaps unsurprising then that when a customer stops paying to attend the group, follow the programme or log into the app, they stop progressing towards their health gain or weight loss goal.
Sound familiar?

Compassionate Nutrition approach is different.
I recognise that you likely already know a lot about how your food intake and daily activity levels affect your health and wellbeing, however, applying that knowledge to daily food choices and behaviour patterns can be an uphill struggle.
Therefore, Compassionate Nutrition focuses on cultivating your innate motivation to continue applying this knowledge in a fruitful way through the processes of promoting self awareness, learning how to regulate one's own behaviour with kindness rather than self-criticism and providing comfort and positive reinforcement by stimulating the reward and comfort pathways in the brain and nervous system.
Through upskilling in compassion towards oneself and others, we can become our own best supporter and 'internal coach' for the longer time frame which some health gains will take to reach and maintain.
I offer a time-limited programme of eight to twelve sessions held weekly or fortnightly, via 50 minute video call. You will also receive audios of guided visualisations, handouts and questions for reflection to work on in between sessions and to keep for your personal use in the future.
I'm ready. Are you?
