Learn to balance your emotions by developing skills in Mindfulness and Compassion. This in-person course running in Clevedon starts 20th March, 2025

During this Compassionate Mind Training course, you will learn:

  • How our minds are naturally predisposed to getting caught up in negative thought-emotion "loops"
  • About the three ‘Emotion Systems’ model, and how we may get stuck in emotional imbalance 
  • What Compassion is (and isn’t) 
  • The attributes which help facilitate Compassion 
  • Commonly experienced fears, blocks and resistances to Compassion, and how we can learn skills to train our minds in it
  • The three ‘flows’ of Compassion: flowing from ourself to others; receiving Compassion from others; flowing from, and receiving, compassion to ourself (Self-Compassion)
  • How to adopt Mindfulness and Compassion skills to support ourselves and balance our emotions  

Course Details:

  • 8 sessions, held over 9 weeks 
  • 2 & 1/2 hours per session 
  • Run in small groups of 10-12, in-person sessions held in Clevedon
  • Thursday evenings commencing 20th March
  • £250, includes handouts and guided audios
